Our Structure

Invest Africa54 structures real estate investments in Ghana through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). An SPV is a separate company that is created for the sole purpose of owning a specific property.

This allows multiple investors to own shares of the same property, and it also mitigates financial risk in case Invest Africa54 ceases to exist.Each SPV is broken into 1,000,000 shares. The number of shares that an investor receives is proportionate to their investment amount. For example, if an investor

invests GHS 500,000 in an SPV that owns a GHS 1 million property, they will receive 500 shares, or 0.05% of the property.Once an SPV is created, it is registered with the Ghana Lands Commission. This makes the ownership of the property transparent and public record.

Smooth Exit Process

With Invest Africa54, the entire process is digital. Making your investment journey convenient, transparent and efficient. Once you make your investment, you can sit back and relax while the property gets quickly funded (typically within 21 days) and earn the expected returns on time. Invest Africa54's client relations team is always available to address all your inquiries.

lthough Invest Africa54 recommends a holding period of 5 years, it also gives investors the opportunity to sell their shares to other investors in the platform twice a year.

When it comes to exit, you have two options:

  • The first is when the underlying asset is sold, this will occur when the simple majority vote to sell. Voting occurs automatically at the five year mark, or prior to this if the property receives a good offer.
  • The second option is to sell your shares on the ‘Secondary market share transfer’ facility for other investors on the platform to purchase.
